SCRIPT:

PANEL 1: From o.p., three alien fingers point at Tetsuko.

ALIEN #1 (o.p.): CHAMPION OF EARTH, WE CHALLENGE YOU!
ALIEN #2 (o.p.): DEFEAT US, AND YOUR PLANET REMAINS FREE!
ALIEN #3 (o.p.): BUT IF WE WIN, YOU AND YOUR SPECIES BECOME OUR SLAVES!!
TETSUKO: Who ARE you guys?

PANEL 2: Three-shot of the three aliens facing the reader. Alien #1 (in center) spreads his arms to indicate the other two, on either side of him.

ALIEN #1: We are the CHAMPIONS! My friends..
ALIEN #2: KLUDJ THE KILLER!
ALIEN #3: DRAKK THE DESTROYER!
ALIEN #1: And I, of course, am the dreaded... TUTU BOTTOMPINK!!

PANEL3: CLOSEUP on Tetsuko as she attempts (not too successfully) to stifle a snicker.
TETSUKO: "TUTU BOTTOMPINK"? What kind of silly name is THAT?

PANEL 4: Tetsuko's POV: Tutu fires gauntlet-mounted machine guns at Tetsuko (the reader).

TUTU: "SILLY"??! THAT NAME HAS STRUCK TERROR INTO THE HEARTS OF A THOUSAND STAR SYSTEMS! YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!!

PANEL 5: REVERSE ANGLE: The bullets are bouncing off of Tetsuko's chest and breasts, but are shredding her tank-top in the process, leaving her half-naked (this is PG, so don't show nipples!)

TETSUKO: HEY, YOU CREEP! Look what you're doing to my CLOTHES!!

PANEL 6: LOW-ANGLE view, from behind Tetsuko as she advances on the stunned aliens; they can't believe she survived the gunfire.

TETSUKO: Now I'm PISSED!!
ALIEN: Uh oh...

COMMENTS: If it looks like I'm recycling situations from the "first" Tetsuko story... well, I guess I was. I'd thought that, if this story was accepted for publication, that this would be the public's first look at Tetsuko, so I figured this would be a good place to do the "bullets bouncing off her bosom" shot. Now I have to figure a way to re-recycle the shot in the current Tetsuko series... after all, it hasn't appeared in color yet! :-)
